Travel Advisory Information

Know Before You Go Graphic

While the Governor has rescinded his executive order regarding out of state travel requiring quarantine and testing following travel, public school systems have received additional guidance from the Maryland Department of Health and our local health officials that it remains a strong recommendation to continue our current practices on this issue. In light of this, the travel question will remain on our screening tool and students and staff are strongly encouraged to be tested or quarantine following any travel.

Any student(s) traveling to a state other than Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C., must either obtain a negative COVID-19 test result (rapid or laboratory confirmed are accepted for this purpose) or self-quarantine for 10 days.  Families should contact the student's school to participate in distance learning during that time of self-quarantine.
