New Sites Added to Summer Food Service Program

Newark, MD, June 1, 2018– In an effort to combat hunger, Worcester County Public Schools has established a Summer Food Service Program at several sites throughout Worcester County. These sites will be in operation during specific times and will serve school-aged children (18 and under).

The program provides meals to all children without charge. Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. There is no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
