Dr. C. Dwayne Abt Receives ASBO MD/DC’s 2021 Fay Miller Education Leadership Eagle Institute Award

Newark, MD, May 27, 2021 - Dr. C. Dwayne Abt, Worcester County Public School’s Assistant Superintendent for Safety and Human Relations, received the 2021 Fay Miller Educational Leadership Award. The Fay Miller Education Leadership Eagle Institute Award is given annually at the ASBO MD/DC Spring Conference to a member who has demonstrated exemplary dedication to education, a commitment to excellence, and demonstrated exceptional leadership skills.

Dr. Abt will receive a scholarship to attend ASBO International's Eagle Institute, a four-day learning experience taught by exceptional leadership professionals in the field.  The Eagle Institute is a leadership program that examines leadership concepts and lessons from historical events. This event is held at various great historical significance locations, such as Gettysburg, West Point, and Washington D.C.  This year's Eagle Institute location is in Charleston, S.C., from July 20 – July 23.
