Óscar Arístides Renta Fiallo, known professionally as Oscar de la Renta, was a Dominican fashion designer. He was born in Santo Domingo in 1932. De la Renta became internationally known in the 1960s. He has won many awards including the International Best Dressed List Hall of Fame.


Our 6th grade students are designing cylinder seals as they did in Ancient Sumer to show ownership. They also took advantage of the beautiful weather and made the courtyard their classroom. #3RsBIS

Sandra Cisneros is a poet, short story writer, novelist, essayist, performer, and artist. She is best known for her first novel, The House on Mango Street. She also wrote a children's book called Hairs/Pelitos. Sandra was born on December 20, 1954.

We even had a pick up game of soccer on the backfield on this beautiful fall afternoon. She is a fashion designer known for her personal style and for dressing various First Ladies of the United States. She is also famous for making eyewear, fragrances, clothing and accessories.
