Due to the forecasted weather conditions and the high probability of rain throughout the day, Snow Hill Middle School’s Field Day scheduled for Friday, May 22nd has been postponed to next week, Wednesday, May 27th.

What She Loves About Her Work
What I enjoy most about my job as an educational assistant is the opportunities to support students in their learning and growth helping them build confidence understand new concepts, and overcome challenges is incredibly rewarding. I value being part of their progress in creating a positive encouraging environment, where they can succeed.

What People May Not Realize
One thing people might not realize about my job as educational assistant is how much relationship building it involves earning students trust understanding their individual challenges and creating a safe space where they feel comfortable learning and asking for help.

What She Loves Most About Her School Community
I value my small community as an Educational Assistant because it allows me to build meaningful relationships with my students and their families. The close-knit environment helps me understand each student’s strengths, needs, and interests, making it easier to support their growth both academically and personally.
