🌟 End of the Week Recap at The Nest Early Learning Center! 🌟 This week has been full of exciting learning and exploration across our classrooms! In the Toddler Room, our little ones dove into a sensory adventure, discovering the world through their 5 senses—see, hear, smell, taste, and touch! 👀👂👃👅🖐️ They had a blast painting with their hands, exploring different textures and colors. They also loved playing with Mr. Potato Head, which helped them connect what they see and touch with everyday objects. To top it off, they made their own listening ears, practicing how to identify and follow different sounds around them. What a fun-filled sensory week! In the Pre-K Room, our preschoolers focused on understanding and expressing emotions. 💭💖 Through stories, role-playing, and fun activities, they learned about different feelings like happiness, sadness, anger, and excitement. They practiced recognizing these emotions in themselves and others, and how to handle them in a healthy way. We discussed how it’s okay to feel big feelings and that they can always talk about them! By the end of the week, our pre-K kiddos were experts at showing kindness, empathy, and self-awareness. We are so proud of all the learning and growth happening at The Nest. Have a wonderful weekend, and we look forward to more adventures next week! 😊
