TRANSPORTATION

Worcester County Public Schools Transportation Department provides safe transportation to and from school for all elementary, middle, and high school students who live more than one mile from their school (Procedure Manual, Section XI, Item F) or those students who face hazardous walking conditions. As well as transportation for athletic and instructional extracurricular activities, summer and after school programs.

Transportation is provided by 69 independent school bus contractors and 54 substitute drivers operating 84 school buses. School vehicle drivers undergo a thorough initial training program in compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws, policies, and procedures, which include health and driving record standards as well as annual in-service training. Likewise, all school vehicles that are certified to transport students are safety tested in the summer and are inspected 3 more times annually in according to guidance set by the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration.

Bus Routes

Worcester County Public School bus routes are broken down into three major routes: the Northend Routes, the Pocomoke Area Routes and the Snow Hill Area Routes. Please use the links below to view routes applicable to your location.
