Newark, MD, May 11, 2026–Worcester County Public Schools is pleased to announce the naming of Caleb Wilson as the new Interim Coordinator of Instruction for Science.
Wilson brings more than a decade of experience in secondary science education and district leadership to the role. Currently serving as District Coach of Instructional Technology and Innovation, he has led numerous initiatives focused on science instruction, educational technology, professional learning, and artificial intelligence integration across the district.
Throughout his career with Worcester County Public Schools, Wilson has taught middle school science, chaired the AI4WCPS Steering Committee, supported instructional innovation initiatives, and facilitated professional development for educators across Maryland. He was recently recognized as the 2025 Maryland Society of Educational Technology Outstanding Leader Using Technology.
“Caleb has consistently demonstrated a passion for science education, innovation, and supporting both students and teachers,” said Annette Wallace. “His leadership experience, forward-thinking approach, and commitment to high-quality instruction make him an outstanding addition to our Central Office instructional team. We are excited to see the impact he will continue to make for our students and staff.”
The role of Coordinator of Instruction for Science was vacant as Jennifer Sills was named Interim Chief Academic Officer for elementary grades last week. Wilson assumes the interim role effective immediately.
