Parents and Family members:
Just a reminder that we have Parent-Teacher conferences tomorrow (Thursday) evening from 5 - 7 PM.
In addition to our senior informational meeting, we will have an After Prom Committee table set up where parents/family members can sign up to volunteer. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an awesome team, brainstorm themes & fun ideas, and help sponsor one of the most memorable nights for our Decatur students. Only one meeting per month.

Check us out! Look for your school counselor with the “Guidance on the Go” desk on some lunch shifts and other possible sightings throughout the school. Making it easier to meet with your counselor for those ‘simpler’ tasks. We are her for you! #guidanceonthego

On behalf of the Walsh family and the entire Stephen Decatur High School community, we’d like to express our sincerest appreciation for the overwhelming support we have received in the wake of Tyler’s accident. From churches to businesses to schools, many of which are from outside our district, we have seen so many acts of kindness and have received hundreds of messages of support. To our Bayside South schools, thank you is not enough. It’s been both heartwarming and humbling to see you turn your school colors to orange.
The trailblazing adventurer Amelia Earhart said, “A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions.” These roots are strong and our Seahawk community could not be more thankful.
Please continue to keep Tyler, his family, friends, classmates, teachers, and schoolmates in your thoughts and prayers.
🧡🧡🧡
