We had a great weekend at the Spring Judging in Carrol County. The FFA team competed in vet science, floral design, and others. Our students represented Worcester Tech and Worcester County proudly with their professionalism and courtesy. We are proud of our students and a great job to our FFA advisor Sarah Ruggiero!

Interactive Media is kicking up some cool stuff. Alex Sousa and her team are busy brainstorming and creating new graphic designs. These first year students are gaining exposure to the rigor and sophistication of the tools and work being done in the program. We don't slow down here on Fridays folks!

Thank you to Mr. Babcock and Babcock Farm for partnering with WT Ag-Science. Today, we extracted our first ever batch of "Worcester Tech Reserve" label honey produced right here in our own pollinator field. It was amazing to see students and staff experience the taste of pure, unadulterated honey and the positive experience we all had. Keeping the foot on the gas here at WT!

There's a lot of cool stuff going on at Worcester Tech. FFA is getting the Marlin Greenhouse ready for the Spring Plant sale, welding students are making consumer products, engineering students are designing games for elementary students, UMES is visiting students about post secondary plans, and WTHS staff are continuing their professional learning after hours. Great job team...oh, and be sure to check out our TikTok...😆

As we continue celebrating CTE Month (and no snow in the forecast), we highlight the great work and success in Bio-medical Science, Nursing, and Culinary Arts. Our students receive state of the art instruction from Chef Phil Cropper, Nurse Krystle Hitch, and Joe Miller and Bill Severn. Our students continue to demonstrate high levels of learning and skills acquisition every day. Everyone is working hard to be enrolled, enlisted, or employed!
