Patricia Hands is a Senior Master Cosmetologist, Instructor, and Advanced Dermatologic Skin Therapist with more than 35 years of industry experience and nine years as a Career and Technical Education educator at Worcester Technical High School. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and an Advanced Professional Certificate from the University of La Verne. Patricia exemplifies instructional excellence through rigorous, industry-aligned curriculum, leadership as a SkillsUSA advisor, and active service on school improvement committees. As owner of Enchanted Hands Hair Salon, she extends learning through authentic apprenticeships, achieving a 100% Maryland State Board pass rate while preparing students for successful careers.

Hannah Morris is committed to fostering both academic and personal success for her students. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Salisbury University in 2019 and a Master of Education with Reading Specialist Endorsement from Liberty University in 2024. Currently in her seventh year as a fifth-grade teacher at Snow Hill Middle School, she contributes to her school community as a member of the ELA and Math committees, a leader on the Literacy School Improvement Team, and a mentor to new teachers. Above all, she prioritizes building strong, meaningful relationships with students while maintaining high expectations for their growth and achievement.

Kiersten Conway, a proud Worcester County graduate and mother of three, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Salisbury University and a Master of Arts degree from The University of Phoenix. In her tenth year in education, nine in WCPS, she is currently completing year three teaching English 10 at Snow Hill High School. She believes fostering meaningful relationships with students and delivering accessible, rigorous instruction empowers students to become critical thinkers and citizens. She is an active member of her School Improvement Team and the District Literacy Committee, as well as a model of best practices for other educators.

Colleen Hood teaches Kindergarten at Snow Hill Elementary School. She holds a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and is pursuing graduate studies in educational leadership. Colleen has taught Pre-K 4 and Kindergarten students at SHES for seven years. She focuses on building strong literacy and social-emotional foundations. She believes classrooms should be joyful, structured spaces where every child feels valued and capable of growth. Beyond her classroom, Colleen serves as a member on Faculty Council, Title I Advisory Committee. She is a Restorative Practices Champion and an Apple Distinguished Teacher along with serving on many school initiatives.

Taylor Case graduated from Stephen Decatur, attended Salisbury University and Wilmington University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Master’s Degree in Reading Instruction. In her sixth-year teaching at Showell Elementary School, Case currently teaches Kindergarten. Case is a member of the ELA committee and mentors new teachers and university interns. Her teaching is centered around fostering a lifelong love of learning, high expectations and creating a structured, predictable environment where students feel safe, supported and challenged. Through intentional instruction and meaningful relationships, Case aims to inspire students and educators to reach their full potential.

Emily Knopp earned her undergraduate degree from Salisbury University and will graduate in the spring from Wilmington University with a master's degree in Technology in Education. She has taught eighth-grade English Language Arts at Stephen Decatur Middle School for six years. Emily is an active member of the School Improvement Plan, After School Academy, mentor to high school interns, and an NJHS officer. She believes that creating a supportive classroom environment is essential to helping students grow as confident readers. She also wants to thank all her colleagues, students, and family who have supported her to have a successful career.
