Join us this Saturday for the 2026 Lower Shore Transition and Self-Advocacy Conference! Middle and high school students with IEPs or 504 plans and their families are invited to meet local agencies, ask questions, and explore supports for life after high school.

Yesterday’s Professional Development Day was filled with valuable learning, important conversations, and opportunities to grow!
One of our sessions focused on mental health and suicide prevention awareness, presented by Jake Baker 27. This important training provided an opportunity to build awareness, increase understanding, and learn more about recognizing and supporting mental health needs.
Another workshop brought together all of our Pre-K4 teachers for training on the Learn, Grow, Eat & Go! nutrition curriculum. Thanks to a generous grant from our Health Department, our teachers are gaining valuable resources and tools to bring nutrition education, healthy habits, and hands-on learning into their classrooms.

Students in Mrs. Perdue’s art class at Berlin Intermediate School celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month by exploring the rich cultural traditions of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Through their colorful and creative artwork, students learned about this meaningful Mexican tradition that honors and remembers loved ones who have passed away.

The Delmarvacade of Bands returns to Wicomico County Stadium tomorrow, Oct. 24, 2026, as a competition and showcase for 12 local high school bands.
Come out and support the marching bands of Snow Hill High (performing at 4:00pm) and Stephen Decatur High (performing at 5:00pm). They will be judged on elements such as sound production, range of content, uniformity, musicianship and more.
For the complete Delmarvacade schedule of the 12 participating schools, visit mdmarchingband.org. There will also be a special performance from the Salisbury University Marching Band at 7:30 p.m. Admission to this event is $10 for adults and $5 for children and students. The competition will begin at 4 p.m. on Saturday with the awards ceremony approximately 7:45 p.m. The 2026 Delmarvacade of Bands will also be shown on the Delmarva Sports Network. #WeAreWorcester #ArtsAliveInWorcester
