At SDMS yesterday, students in Ms. Larrick's class learned the history of pottery and creating thumbnail sketches, in preparation for their own upcoming pottery unit; they used artistic vocabulary and thoughtful responses in their work. Students in Mr. Averill's class are using graphite, blending stumps and erasers to create depth and form in their drawings. They are working to master the concept of value! #WeAreWorcester #ArtsAreAliveInWorcester

What an impactful day for some Pocomoke High School students, who had the opportunity to experience the powerful words and performances of the Twin Poets, Delaware’s Poets Laureate and nationally recognized spoken word artists.
A huge thank you to the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation for bringing them to PHS!

Thank you to the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation for generously donating art supplies to the Little Free Art Gallery at Snow Hill Elementary School (funded by the Worcester County Arts Council). The gallery, which will be getting its annual cleaning soon, provides students with access to these free materials to be creative while at home.
If you'd like to contribute, please feel free to drop off any art supplies to Snow Hill Elementary to be added to the gallery box. #WeAreWorcester #ArtsAliveInWorcester #PartnershipsInAction
